Dr. Ishanesu Sextus Gusha is a Zimbabwean theologian, Anglican priest, and scholar deeply committed to interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding. Currently serving as Chaplain at St. Phillip and St. James Anglican Church in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, he brings over two decades of ministry and academic experience to his work. A Fellow of KAICI
Dr. Ishanesu Sextus Gusha is a Zimbabwean theologian, Anglican priest, and scholar deeply committed to interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding. Currently serving as Chaplain at St. Phillip and St. James Anglican Church in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, he brings over two decades of ministry and academic experience to his work. A Fellow of KAICIID (King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue), SAFCEI (Southern African Faith Communities’ Environment Institute), and CEDAR, Dr. Gusha actively promotes dialogue, reconciliation, and social cohesion across faith traditions. He holds a PhD in Theology from the University of Pretoria, where his research explored ethnic cohesion through Paul’s ethics of reconciliation. Formerly Dean of the Cathedral of St. Mary and All Saints in Harare and Senior Lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe, Dr. Gusha is a prolific writer whose publications engage with themes of interfaith cooperation, peacebuilding, and contextual biblical interpretation. His work continues to inspire bridges of understanding between faith communities in Africa, Europe, and beyond.
